Rakun X6UL system IP block is small foot-print, verified and proven building block consisting of CPU and memory subsystem for easy and inexpensive integration. Complete platform with hardware, Intelectual Property (IP), software and design support.
It is pre-designed and based on NXP’s i.MX6UL processor, member of the i.MX6 family. It features single Cortex A7 core running up to 700MHz, 512MB DDR3L memory, 4GB eMMC Flash memory, 4MB QSPI NOR flash memory and two 10/100 Ethernet PHYs. Other periphery comprises standard interfaces UARTs, SPIs, SD, PWM, ADC rtc.
It is available in the form of PCB layout segment that can be easily integrated into customer specific board. It offers a lot of interfaces, used in telecom and industrial applications. Customization of the system is also available even for smaller quantities.
It runs Linux operating system including Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
CPU
NXP i.MX6UL CPU, single A7 core running up to 700MHz.
Cortex A7 architecture. 32KB data and 32KB instruction L1 cache per core. 128KB unified L2 cache. Floating point units, NEON co-processor. ARM TrustZone architecture.
Memory
512MB DDR3L memory. 800MHz data rate, 16 bit bus. Optional capacities are 256MB, 1GB.
4GB eMMC flash (8 bit bus). Other capacities are available.
4MB QSPI NOR flash. Optional capacities are 8MB to 512MB. It is the default boot memory.
